Forgot Notes password
Replacement phone and now Notes is no longer Touch ID set up and I can’t remember password for Notes

Hi Betsy,
I understand that you have forgotten your password to Notes and you are unable to unlock them because you do not have the Touch ID capability anymore (iPhone 6s Plus as a replacement).
There is a way to reset the Notes password however it only takes effect on new notes and does not change the old password on the old notes that already exist. In short, if your notes only exist on your iPhone 6s and you have forgotten the password then I am afraid you will not be able to access them.
