Email on my iPhone 11Pro
Just changed over from an iPhone SE to the 11 via the iCloud restore and I have a problem with the email.
My company used Office365 and the new phone wants me to re-enter my email password, but when I do I am informed:
Your account or password is incorrect. If you can't remember your password
you will have to trust me in this, I am using the correct password :-) this is not my first rodeo and I've studied the password long and hard before coming here.
Ive also downloaded the outlook app and I get the same result.
if I switch the re-enter password to Safari using the compass icon at the bottom of the page, then I see this message:
AADSTS900561: The endpoint only accepts POST requests. Received a GET request.
i have extracted the URL used by the re-enter password page and run it through a browser on my laptop and that also does not login successfully, it does not fail but sits at password checking. I can see from the browsers dev tools however that the attempt is invalid.
so I’m looking for some help here. I realise this is probably down to O365 as well. The phone and O365 not playing well together but, if I swap the SIM back into my old iPhone SE then the email works fine.
