Lost phone

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help, my daughters phone was stolen, she doesn’t know the iCloud but someone said you could find it with the serial number? Just wondering if this was true

No, but iCloud uses her Apple ID. If she has forgotten that, the following may help: If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support

What previous post wrote. Someone said about “serial number,” is WRONG! If “Find My iPhone” was never activated, (one of first things to do with iPhones) you never find it. Only thing to do is contact daughter’s wireless carrier, and have them “blacklist” phone so nobody else can use it.
