I have been constantly having issue with the powerbeats pro where I hear an electric/ buzzing sound. I just wanted to note here that power cycling your beats and your iphone isn't enough. In addition, I found that changing the name of my beats helped with reconnection.

You mention that you've tried restarting the Beats and your iPhone, which is a great start. Since that hasn't helped, I'd suggest using the steps outlined in Sound Troubleshooting–Headphones and Earphones, as well as If you can't connect to your wireless Beats product, to address the issue. If that doesn't work, try resetting your Beats: Reset your Beats earphones.

So I wanted to complete my own journey and report back: I ended up taking them to apple. Obviously they could reproduce the issue. They returned them a week later. At which point I told the apple rep that this issue would basically bring me back to the store in a week. At which point I recounted my entire issue. He basically put it under a customer service ticket that managed to get the beats completely replaced.
I've been having this problem since I bought the product a few weeks ago. It randomly refuses to pair with my iPhone - doesn't appear to be any one particular headphone and happens at random. But when it does happen, rebooting the iPhone, resetting the Beats Pros, doesn't work - for example I've spent the past hour repeating different options. Nothing worked, then after closing the lid on my charging case and giving it a last go, it worked.
The buzzing sound (well more like a high pitched insect such as a mosquito) occurs when I beats pro earpiece into my ear, and is like static as I move my finger across the earpiece. At the time, the controls on the earpiece do not work.
