I have an iphone X and while using whatsapp, I suddenly lose half of my contacts. I go to contacts, and whatever confirmed contacts I had before are now “siri found in whatsapp”. I have to manually add the contacts over and over again. Its the 3 time this happens. Can anyone help?

I also suggest confirming what the default account is that contacts are added to on your iPhone. This will be the account that WhatsApp contacts will appear under when you add them with Siri suggestions. Contacts for that account would need to remain turned on under Passwords & Accounts in order for them to appear on your iPhone:
