I bought iphone 6s+ from my friend in Vietnam and I don't know it has been locked.
Can I buy new iphone 11 with current iphone? (Do you have an iPhone to trade in?)

If the phone is activation locked, Apple will not accept it for a trade-in or anything else. If the previous owner cannot or will not remove the lock, then the device is useless to you or anyone else. Dispose of it properly.

There is a trade in program but if the iPhone is activation locked they won’t give you anything for it: Apple Trade In - Apple
