built-in dictionary in MacBook Pro 2019 is not working

Please help ... the built-in dictionary for my MacBook Pro is not working for other language besides the Oxford dictionary of English (US). Normally when I used it in my iPhone, it will show the definition for multiple languages, and i can also use it to look up the definition for Chinese simplified.
