Please help ... the built-in dictionary for my MacBook Pro is not working for other language besides the Oxford dictionary of English (US). Normally when I used it in my iPhone, it will show the definition for multiple languages, and i can also use it to look up the definition for Chinese simplified.

Have you gone to Applications > Dictionary.app > Preferences and checked the boxes for the language dictionaries you want to use?
