Blank image placeholder keynote 9
How do I create a blank image placeholder in Keynote 9? I can see it in the Master slide but when I use that Master Slide it does not work.
Is it mandatory to have an image in the MasterSlide for this to work?

Creating an image placeholder
- if the image is to appear on a single slide only, place an image on the slide
- if the image is to appear on every slide, place an image on the Master Slide (View > Edit Master Slide)
- position and size the image
- go to: Format > Advanced > Define as Media Placeholder
- if using a Master Slide, click Done, to exit
- to use; Drag and drop the image that is to appear in the presentation, on to the image placeholder of a slide
- an image must be used to create the media placeholder, a shape will not work
- as the image used to create the placeholder will show in Keynote, use an innocuous unidentified image that you own the copyright, take a photo of the kitchen floor
