My podcast randomly speeds up without me touching my phone

I'll be listening to a podcast in the car and suddenly it will speed up, or slow down, without me even touching my phone. I can't figure out why? Is there a way to turn the speed option off? Or stop this? I've made sure my phone is up to date, tried resetting it. Pretty sure the app is updated as well. Maybe is it a shake to change speed feature? If so can that be turned off?

Where is the playback speed button for Podcasts on iPHONE 8+? My podcasts playback too fast. Support says adjust using playback speed button. I cannot locate on my iPHONE 8+. Where is it located?
