Hi, agorji4.

I'm glad you decided to reach out on Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, the gyroscope sensor isn’t working on your iPhone, and it only works momentarily after restarting your device.

I want to make sure we’re on the same page so that I can offer the best assistance. What is happening on your device to make you feel that the gyroscope sensor isn’t working? For example, is the Compass app not working correctly?

If not, I would start by ensuring you have your privacy settings correct for the Compass app.

First, you want to allow Compass to access your location:

  • Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Compass > While Using the App
  • Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Compass Calibration

This article explains: Use the compass on iPhone

Hopefully something here helps. If not, take a moment to explain in more detail the issue you’re experiencing.

Best Regards.
