Apple Watch workout Activity 😬🙅🏼‍♂️

Hey guys,

So after doing a run , I swipe right on my watch and using the + sign, I add a swim activity.. all great so far .. when I am done with both workouts the active calories are shown as individual workouts whilst this was one event .. is there a way that the Apple watch can log different workouts without stopping and show your total active time , heart rate and active calories ?

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply, however it still does not give the combined active calories as a single workout for the day. My medical aid allocates discounts when you do a active workout with more than 300active calories per day .. what happens now is the swim would be calculated as 250Cal and the run would be 260cal but Apple then does not add the 250+ 260 and give a total result of 610active calories as required to achieve my 300 cal goal

Just to check that you're not missing any steps,this is from apple support;

Combine multiple activities in a single workout

  1. Open the Workout app  on your Apple Watch.
  2. Begin your first workout—an outdoor run, for example.
  3. When you’re ready to start a different activity—like an outdoor bike ride—swipe right, tap , then choose the workout.
  4. When you finish all your activities, swipe right, then tap End.
  5. Turn the Digital Crown to scroll through the results summary.
  6. Scroll to the bottom and tap Done to save the workout.

I know this sounds silly but what if you only did one of those workouts but for longer so that you burn the required 300 calories,I know this isn't the solution but it would get your discount.
