Photoshop Elements 2020 in Mac OS Catalina

How can I add Photoshop Elements 2020 as an external editor under the edit option? There has to be a way to open the picture in Photoshop Elements from Apple Photos and save the picture back once done. I can't see drawing the picture to the desktop in order to edit and then drag it back to Apple Photos. If Luminar, Affinity, ON1 are able to do it so why not Photoshop Elements?

Another way is to use the Open In option in the Edit with menu:

Then select the PSE Editor in the next menu:

Be sure to select the Editor instead of the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 app:

You want the editor to open directly.

The External Editors plugin is also a very worthwhile plugin to use. That will give you direct access to every app in the Applications folder.
