I'd love to record the process to get to a certain part of a certain app through screen recording but my taps/touches are not recorded. Is there an option to turn this on?

Are the taps working? In other words, when you tap on the screen, does the screen change? Remember, that it is recording the screen, not what your finger is doing, so you have to indicate in the text to tap on a certain button, etc. You can press firmly on the button and it allows you to record your voice with the screen recording as well. From what I understand, there may be apps that allow screen recording and can show a dot where you press, but I'm not aware of what they may be.

You will actually see the spot turn dark like it would with your finger touching it, it just does not show a specific mark on the screen to show what you are touching.
I see, so without other apps (or voice recording) there isn't a way to record the contact points (taps/touches) - is that correct?
