Cannot Access Conflicts when syncing iphone with Windows 10 using iTunes

My search on this problems found this suggestion "If you can't find the folder on your system, search C drive for all files matching *synconflict, but I just cannot find any of this file in my PC.

I also couldn't find any of this folder "/AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer/SyncServices/Local/conflicts/conflicts.synconflict".

Pls let me know

1) how to find this Apple folder in Windows 10 Home OS.

2) how to resolve this sync issue with Outlook Calendar and IE when sycn via iTunes.

Thank you!

Hi Taijiboy,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand you're having trouble using iTunes for Windows to sync with Outlook on your PC. I know it's important to be able to sync your information; I'd like to help.

First, you might want to consider using iCloud for Windows; this would keep you contacts, calendars, notes, and documents up-to-date across your devices and will communicate with Outlook:

If you'd prefer to continue using iTunes, there are some steps I'd suggest trying before renaming your SyncServices folder. Take a look below:

Next, use these steps to reset the sync history in iTunes:

  • Open iTunes; choose Edit > Preferences from the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window.
  • Select the Devices tab > click Reset Sync History.
  • Try syncing again.

If you continue to have trouble, run the "iPhone sync test" while your device is connected to iTunes: Gather and use iTunes Diagnostics in iTunes for Windows

If the the test is passed, try syncing again and let me know what you find.

Best Regards.

Hi Starr,

Thanks so much for your prompt help.

Before I got your help, I went to delete those offending sync Calendar entries in both the laptop and iPhone. I have deleted about 5 or 6 of them, out of a total 34 in the list of sync issues, before I synced again. Miraculously, the sync problem went away. There was no warning message of sync issues anymore. It's so weird.

Really appreciate your kind help, especially on the way to 'Reset Sync History'. I was not aware of that.

Thank you!
