Open locked iPhone for dead owner

Hi dears. My uncle was dead and his family want to open his iPhone and the device is locked with his fingerprints please help me to find the regal way

I am sorry to hear about your family’s loss. There is no way, legal or otherwise, unless you know his passcode.

The article posted by macjack explains how to get access to an iCloud account, but unless the phone was synced or backed up to iCloud the contents of the phone are not recoverable.
