How do I disinfect an iphone (remove viruses, bacteria)?

How do I disinfect an iphone (viruses, bacteria)? More than just the typical cleaning / wiping with cloth that Apple has advised? Is there an alcohol based solution that can be used to dampen cloth to DISINFECT?

Apple does not recommend the use of alcohol on the iPhone, since that would destroy the coating on the screen. Also, alcohol is a majority water, and could very easily seep into the iPhone, destroying the electronics. Cleaning the phone as Apple suggests is good, as well as washing your hands to keep viruses off the iPhone.
