Email about account being disabled

Good evening,

I received an email that says from Apple support security. It stated that my account was accessed from another device and would be disabled within 24 hours if I didn’t verify my account via email. I’m not sure if it is a scam to get my personal Information so I’m checking in with you.

The email is fake; forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it. If an Apple ID actually gets locked, its owner will be told when they try logging into it instead of through email.
