Opening windows from an USB or Hard disk
Hi, I need to download Solidworks, but it's available only for windows. There's any way to install windows on a pen drive or ssd, and run it without installing on the mac?

In theory it's possible but difficult.

The other problem is, SolidWorks is looking for an NVIDIA card which is not available on a MacBook Air.
I don't think it's very feasible.
Only the Enterprise version of Windows allows installation on a removable drive.
Neither Boot Camp Assistant nor Microsoft support installing and running Windows from an external drive. Check the Microsoft site for licensing and Windows to Go. Check Boot Camp Assistant for supported configurations which does not include Windows to Go.
You can install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant or using a virtual Machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.
