Can I turn off Cellular on an Apple Watch 5 to use it as a Bluetooth device for my iPhone?

Can I turn off Cellular on an Apple Watch 5 to use it as a Bluetooth device for my iPhone? I work in a hospital in an area where cell service is terrible. My office nearby has good service and I leave my phone there. If i have a cellular capable Apple Watch, I would need to turn off the cellular and use it as a strictly Bluetooth device when I am at work. Any ideas?

A Cellular Apple Watch that does not have a cellular contract will behave just like a GPS only Apple Watch.

You just have to cancel your Apple Watch cellular service with your iPhone cellular provider.

If you happen to have a Series 5 cellular Apple Watch, you will still be able to use it for emergency services calls (such as 911 in the U.S., but the similar services in other countries). This is even without a cellular service.
