If you want to use an iPhone or iPad underwater, then invest in a good, pressure rated, underwater housing for it. Electronics intended for use underwater will not be IP67 splash and dust resistant rated. They will be pressure tested to ensure no water ingress at all up to some specific pressure (depth).
Maybe. I wouldn't recommend it. Even if it keeps on working the first time, it may fail the next time this is attempted.
