Vinalbany,

The Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions will provide you with the information you are seeking:

Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple

"Apple Music:

- You can use an Individual Apple Music membership on up to 10 devices (only five of which can be computers)."

Regards.

Hello Vinalbany,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

It is my understanding that you would like to know if an iPad and an iPhone are authorized devices for Apple Music. Yes, an iPhone or an iPad can be used with Apple Music. This article has information about using Apple Music with an iPad or iPhone which you may find useful:

Join Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support

"Update your iPhone or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS, iPad to the latest version of iPadOS, or Mac to the latest version of macOS. On a PC, make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows."

Regards.

Hi Chris, thanks for replying. But not quite my question. I know mobile devices can access Apple Music. But Apple Music limits each user to 5 "authorized" computers at a time. "Authorized" is a term of art. I believe the 5-computer limit intended to refer only to computers -- Macs, in my case -- and that mobile devices do not count toward that limit. Am I correct?
