I have a new Apple TV and it will not go back to the home screen. It is stuck on the Discovery App. How do I restart the device?

Hold down the Menu button on the remote and it will return to the home screen. If you want to reset the Apple TV please click https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202118

You always get back to the “home” screen by holding down the menu button on the remote.
