I have two sleeve tattoos and finding that my phone constantly goes into lock mode where I have to put in my pin each time I want to use my watch, I was told that the tattoo should only affect the heart moniter, but this is not the case, any help would be appreciated, I have an apple watch series 3

It will affect wrist detection for keeping the watch unlocked as well as the heart monitor.
Turn off wrist detection.
