Ipad and third party flash drive

So i have a lightning flashdrive which has been amazing, I was able to transfer all sorts of files like pdfs, videos, music, pictures, and even packet tracer files. My flashdrive broke on the usb end so the pc's cant recognize it; my ipad still does. I wanted to move the files and email them to myself in order to transfer them to a regular flashdrive. However when i plug it in, the third party that reads the flashdrive wont share my file since it contains files that are not supported by the ipad (pkg, cpp) and now my information is stuck. Is there any app that can extract these files?

Then you'll need to contact the app developer. If the app is crashing, they its an issue only the can resolve.

alternatively, If you are running iOS 13, you may want to see if the drive appears directly in the Files App under devices. With iOS 13, flash drives are directly supported.

The app “Files” which comes with iPadOS should recognize your flash drive. Open “Files” and you will see your flash drive. From there open your flash drive, save all its content on your iPad, unplug your defective flash drive, plug a working flash drive and saved on it everything from your defective flash drive saved in your iPad. And voila.
