Siri crashes upon invocation

Every single time I invoke Siri using "Hey Siri" or the home button, Siri crashes. I have tries restarting, respringing, and even downloading a new Siri voice. There is no "info.plist "on my iPhone in /Applications/Siri.App. Don't know if that is whats causing the problem. Invoking from AirPods also crash Siri and even Bluetooth, but Bluetooth is fixed by restarting the phone.

Hello Zayed4502,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that Siri crashes when attempting to invoke it on your iPhone 6s. I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.

The following support article provides some general troubleshooting steps to take when Siri isn't working as expected:

If Siri or "Hey Siri" isn't working - Apple Support

If those steps don't help, we'll want to further isolate potential software causes by reinstalling iOS. Be sure to make a backup of your data first. Once you have a backup made, restore your iPhone to factory settings. It's important that you set up the iPhone as a new device, instead of restoring from your backup at this point. Once you have set up the iPhone and tried to replicate the issue, you can go ahead and restore from the backup you previously made:

  1. How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
  2. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
  3. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

If you're still experiencing the behavior after, I suggest reaching out to Apple Support:
