Lost contacts in the cloud
I’ve just got a replacement iPhone 7. Logged into cloud to restore settings etc and now seem to have lost a lot of contacts phone no’s. Any advice.

If you were syncing them with another email account (gmail, yahoo, outlook.com, a corporate exchange account, etc.) then check that account in Settings>Passwords & Accounts to make sure contact syncing is still turned on for that account.

Are you certain you were syncing those contacts with iCloud?
I’m not sure. I assumed I was syncing all the time as contacts was green
Is it possible to re-restore
go to iCloud.com
-account settings
-down left corner
-special
-choose restore files
-choose contacts
I have another problem if I may. In my apple dcim?? folder I have FME files - they wont open or export. I also get an 0x800700141error message. Can you shed some light??
