Unable to Resubmit Resume

So a while back, ever since Apple redid their hiring website, I am no longer able to apply for certain positions. The buttons simply say "resubmit resume." Unlike before, I get no confirmation emails, and nothing happens in general, just refreshes the page. I have also seen others have this issue, so I know it is not my device that is the problem. Even under my account, there are some positions from literally five years ago where it gives me the option to resubmit. My best guess is that whoever is in charge of said positions simply never closed them out. It's frustrating because I would still like to keep trying and apply to Apple, but I can't even do that now.


I submitted this under website feedback, but see no category under Apple support for this type of thing. Any suggestions?

Website feedback seems the appropriate action


I do not imagine that Apple Support specialists even have anything at all in their Knowledge Base regarding jobs website

It is POSSIBLE that you might get some help if you ask to speak with a supervisor (and KEEP asking until you get to the right department)

This would NOT be a Human Resources issue, but rather a "webmaster" issue


The good news? They "say" that all feedback submissions are read by live people

Per speaking to a specialist, the workaround for now was creating a new Apple ID and applying with that one. In doing so, I was able to successfully apply like before, confirmation emails and all. So I just setup forwarding from the email I hardly ever touch to go to my current one. Meanwhile, I submitted feedback for the original issue as well.

Seems that a "workaround" like you describe does not actually solve teh underlying problem? 😉🏴‍☠️

FWIW, I have seen several folks reporting the same issue

It may actually have something to do with the HR "recruiter" not doing something right on their "console" = human error is hard to fix
