Thanks for the quick response. I have tried that and it will not change the search engine to Yahoo or Google or DuckDuckgo.
It will not change ... I'm at a loss for trying to solve this problem. Any other suggestions?

What search icon?
Just type something in the address bar at the very top of the App, and then tap the blue go button on the onscreen keyboard.
For Safari go to Settings->Safari->Search Engine and set it to whatever you want. You can't remove the Bing Option, but you can set a different search engine for Safari instead.
I have tried that several time and it shows that Google is my search engine but on the iPhone when I search it always reverts to Bing.com
First, check to see if bing is in the app list within settings. Go to the App store, check under apps you've purchased and if it's there, delete it. Otherwise go to what ever browser you use, go to their settings and change the default search engine to google.
And restrictions?
You might also try a forced restart: press and release the volume up button, press and release the volume down button, hold the side button until the Apple logo appears, let go of the button. Then try again.
I use MSN as my home screen and search in in line that says “ Search the web” and had Google as my search engine. I did not change anything. I noticed the change yesterday and have been trying to figure out how to get it back to Google search.
If you use the MSN website, then it by default uses Bing, you cannot change the search engine the MSN wesbite uses. Its their website, and they get to decide what search engine is used when you use their search box.
If you want to use Google, open google.com instead or simply use the address bar at the top of Safari to search rather than the MSN search box.
I am having problems with my IPhone 11
Do you have a work email account on your iPhone? If yes they may be limiting you to Bing. Also check restrictions under Screen Time.
I do not have a work email
Go to Settings, Safari, and choose what search engine you want as a default from the provided list.
i have tried that several times and o luck
So the question now is, how exactly do you initiate a search?
What are the steps you follow exactly?
Is this on an iPhone? How are you using MSN as a home screen? Or are you using it as your default browser? If yes that is whey it is defaulting to Bing.
