How to change internal range of IP addresses on Airport Extreme

I have an ipad and an Airport Extreme. I manage it through the app on my ipad. I need to change the range for the internal IP addresses as it's conflicting with some equipment I need to use for work. How do I change the internal range? I don't see an option on the app.

iPad Air 2, iOS 13

On the iPad Home screen, tap on AirPort Utility

Tap on the AirPort Extreme

Tap Edit

Tap Advanced

Tap DHCP and NAT

What is the entry next to Range Beginning?

What is the entry next to Range Ending?

Next, what is the make and model number of the Spectrum modem that you are using? We ask this because the Spectrum device might also be a router......and if it is.....the AirPort Extreme is not set up correctly and should be configured to operate in Bridge Mode, which Apple calls "Off (Bridge Mode)".

You change the IP address range via network options..

The apple router must always take IP 1 so for example you use 192.168.1 then airport must be 192.168.1.1

It will look a bit different from the iOS version airport utility but will be in the network options somewhere.

As per hoffy normally you will not be using two routers.. the main network modem router or airport with pure modem.. otherwise you just bridge the airport to the router and it will not give you any problems.

Could you elaborate on the IP address conflict?

Your AirPort Extreme is your DHCP server, and not an ISP-provided box?

Comparatively little gear requires a fixed IP address.

Issues do arise when the local subnet and the remote subnet are the same, and that’s usually easiest to move the whole local subnet into another subnet, or into a subnet in a different private block.

Here’s how to set up static addresses: https://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/how_to_configure_a_static_dhcp_reservation_with_airport_extreme

I’m connecting my office phone, Digium D70, so that I can work from home but still receive calls. It’s supposed to just connect to the network and come right up. It’s looking for an IP address that happens to fall in the same range as what I have at home, so it’s not ultimately coming up and working. The thought was to change my internal range to resolve that conflict.
