Am trying to remove DiskDrill from my applications. It's a 32-bit app I no longer need.

EtreCheck suggested that I ask the Community before deleting the following:

Launchd script:/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.cleverfiles.cfbackd.plist

Executable:/Library/Application Support/CleverFiles/BackService.app/Contents/MacOS/cfbackd

Status:Running

Is it OK to do so?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Ideally, you should use the developer's uninstallation instructions. If you can't find them (or if they simply don't work, which is disturbingly common) then yes. Drag those files to the Trash.

Since those processes are active, boot Safe Mode (read below) which will prevent that Launch Daemon from loading the process while in that mode. Then, drag them to the Trash, and restart normally.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
