I have an iPhone 6. The compass feature used to show the elevation. For some reason the elevation disappeared and I cannot get it back

How do you get the elevation to show on the compass feature?

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Allow Compass to access your location

If Compass doesn’t see your location, make sure you’ve turned on Location Services.

  1. Go to Settings  > Privacy > Location Services, then turn on Location Services.
  2. Tap Compass, then tap While Using the App.

Like many others I have also had this problem. In order to see elevation you have to reduce the size of text . Go to Settings- General-Accessibility -Larger Text . At bottom of screen drag the text size smaller. This is a very annoying problem that could easily be fixed. I prefer larger text size on my phone but because of this one feature the only way to read elevation is not to read anything else on my phone. ! I don't understand why this feature can't be scrolled down to or paged over to.
