"1 year free Apple TV plus" not showing when opening the Apple TV plus app

Why is the "1 year free Apple TV plus" not showing when I open the Apple TV plus app?

I have just bought a new MacBook Pro and updated it. The app is only offering 7 days trial.

If you meet the requirement for the year offer, and if you did as described in the guide document, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support. They can assist you when the automatic prompt won’t show.
