Apple TV app on Roku TV

I have an apple TV box in my bedroom that works just fine. However, on my TCL Roku TV in my living room, every time that I try to watch anything, it tells me "To watch this content, sign in to the iTunes Store. I don't see anyway to do that on the TV, so I've signed in from my computer. Additionally, I have verified that I am signed in on the TV app and have a current subscription. I do not know what to do next.

This would concern the Apple TV app on your Roku. You don’t have to sign in on other devices. Signing in to the app is all that is needed for access to the iTunes Store.


  • Verify that your Apple ID account is in order, with valid address, region, payment method, and no missed payments.
  • Verify that your Roku region matches the region for your Apple ID account.
