I track my finances on Quicken. Can you download transaction activity to Quicken?
Not being able to download easily to quicken is a show stopper

You can't set it up to automatically download directly into Quicken the way that you can with most other cards but you can do the following as described in See your Apple Card spending history - Apple Support
(After exporting, import the file into Quicken)
How to export and download your Apple Card transactions
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
- Tap Card Balance.
- Under Statements, tap the statement you want to export.
- Tap Export Transactions, then email, print, save, or share the file.
You can export or download transactions from a previous month as a .CSV or .OFX file to use with third-party financial apps and programs that support those file formats.

For you maybe, not the majority of users. If it's a show stopper for you then cancel the card and move on.
