Email on iPhone not full screen

When I open the email app on the iPhone, the screen is not full view. There is a small section at the bottom of the phone that is black, making the area to read emails smaller.

How can I get it back to full screen?

the only thing that popped up were some old drafts and then the problem started.

Okay.

Then follow the steps provided by MrHoffman (before my first reply).

Most likely you have to delete Mail app then install-it back again (and re-add your e-mail account).

or

Create a full backup and install a fresh copy of your iOS, restoring your device to factory settings and, in the end, set it up as new: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings – Apple Support

When done, restore data from your previously made backup.

Buongiorno Claudio,

Hai già controllato di non avere qualche "Zoom" o "dimensione testo" abilitati in:

Impostazioni>Schermo e luminosità>Zoom?

e/o

Impostazioni>Schermo e luminosità>Dimensione testo?

e/o

Impostazioni>Accessibilità>Zoom?

e/o

Impostazioni>Accessibilità>Schermo e dimensioni del testo?

Ciò succede soltanto aprendo l'app MAIL, oppure in tutte le applicazioni?

Per favore fammi sapere, grazie.

Giulio

In English:

Did you already check that you do not have any "Zoom" or "text size" enabled in:

Settings>Display&Brightness> Zoom?

and / or

Settings>Display&Brightness> Text size?

and / or

Settings> Accessibility> Zoom?

and / or

Settings> Accessibility> Screen and text size?

Does it happens only opening Mail app or using all the apps?

Please, let me know, thanks.
