Need to Reset my iWatch

I am having an issue using my iWatch. My iWatch has worked fine in the past, but this issue does recur. and this time I can not seem to be able to fix it.


My iPhone is from my company, so there is a company imposed level of security that might be hampering this. The watch says 'device locked, Unlock iPhone to start using Apple Watch'. The iPhone is not locked. when I go to the iWatch app on the phone, it only displays the Start Pairing screen. I can not do anything else with the app, since the watch says to use the phone to unlock it.


I am stuck on what to try. Holding the two buttons down for 10 second has also not worked.


Any thoughts?

First, do you have a passcode on your Apple Watch? If so, I suggest taking these steps to reset the passcode:

On the other hand, if you don't have a passcode on the watch, I suggest using these steps to unpair and erase, then set it up again:

Have you tried this;

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then click it, then click the little green check button.
