Log into https://www.icloud.com with your Apple ID credentials on a web browser. Click on Photos

I went online and I am missing photos from 2012-2018. I have 1 photo showing from 2012 and then it skips to 2018. I need photos from 2018 that are not showing.

Why can I not see my old photos when I sign into I-cloud? Where have they gone? It only goes back to 2017....
