Request for refund on an app

I’ll will like to request for a refund.i initially subscribed to lexicomp but I later found myself not using it often,hence I forgot to cancel the free trial before 16th March.i would like a refund because this app is not useful to me at the moment.i tried contacting lexicomp directly but was advised to contact Apple since I made the purchase through apple
