MacOS Sierra version 10.12.6

The latest version of Logic Pro X requires macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra, but you can install an older version of Logic Pro X using the App Store.

If your Mac can run macOS Sierra, it can also run macOS High Sierra.

I've been running 10.12.6 and Logic 10.4.4 for a very long time. It's very stable and is what I use to record all of my clients. l also have a drive running the latest Logic update on 10.13.6 and have found it to be slightly dodgy on transport control/midi from both the keyboard and a control surface.

Same here..... Sierra and 10.4.4, extremely stable. I have another Drive with High Sierra that's had Logic 10.4.5 through 10.4.8 and none of them are as stable and smooth/efficient as 10.4.4 on Sierra.

Logic 10.3.2 on El Capitan, totally stable too!
