Syncing To iCloud Deleted Some of My Notes - How to Recover Them?
- I setup iCloud roughly eight months ago - This made the 600 notes from the "Notes" app on my MacBook show up on my iPhone under "All iCloud" in Notes for iOS.
- Overtime, the notes didn't sync automatically. When I added new notes on my MacBook - they wouldn't show up on iPhone, and when I added notes onto my iPhone, they wouldn't show up on my MacBook in Notes. I assume that it is manual and figured that I would figure out how to sync at some point.
- For some reason, about one month ago, I was no longer able to search through the Notes on my MacBook's Notes search feature.
- I looked up a solution on Apple Support, and it said to uncheck “notes” from iCloud in System Preferences then re-check the box. I did that. All of the notes on my MacBook's Notes app disappeared - over 1,000. When I re-checked the box. Only the 600 notes from November reappeared.
Where might I be able to find the other notes? I assume that if they weren't stored in iCloud that they must be somewhere on the MacBook.
These are important notes. Please help.
-They are not found in the "Recently Deleted" folder on the Notes app for Mac.
-When I log onto iCloud, they are not there - only the notes from November.
-I do not have a TimeMachine Backup of my notes.
-I am running MacOS Mojave on a MacBook Air.
