Hi, I purchased a 2019 Mac Pro and having issues shutting down the computer. After I've had it on for a while, if I try to Shut the Mac down, after 15-20 seconds, it boots up again.
I noticed that if I log out, enter my password, log in, I can then shut down without any issues.
Any suggestions as to why this might be occurring?

If you are not DELIBERATLY using Wake for Network Access, it should be off.
It requires a Network Sleep Proxy on your network to work properly, but leaves the network interface powered to allow wake-up packet detection and wake-up
Your computer never finishes shutting down -- it crashes before shutdown completes.
It is still trying to notify a priority storage device run by:
com.apple.iokit.IOStorageFamily(2.1) --- a standard Apple IO driver for storage devices
It times out, panics, and restarts.
These non-Apple kernel extensions are loaded at the time:
loaded kexts:
com.digidesign.iokit.DigiDal 20.3.0f4
com.uaudio.driver.UAD2System 9.11.0
How about Sharing?are you Screen Sharing or File Sharing or Internet Sharing?
Also, Wake for network access -- do you have a good reason to be doing that?
Disconnect all external drives as a start.

I may have narrowed it down to the OWC ThunderBay 4 enclosure.

I have 4 (2TB SSD) JBOD and as soon as I ejected the 4 SSD's and did a shut down, the Mac didn't auto-start.
Now that this could be the culprit, how do I fix it?

OK, now the LAST item on that pane, Power Nap.
Unless you REALLY want your Mac to wake up and check for email and/or update iCloud, and/or do Backups, turn that one off as well.
Start by running Disk Utility and repair disk/First Aid on each of the drives, to be sure their directories are OK.
MacOS kernel does not panic by itself. But you are not running MacOS kernel, because you have added some third-party extensions, which modify the kernel.
Either those extensions or your storage devices are most likely to be the source of the panic on shutdown.
Hmmm, very strange, what is set for Sys Prefs>Energy Saver>Startup automatically after power failure?
contact OWC. Maybe there is a firmware update for the box.
They pride themselves on their support. They have labs full of Macs, and folks who develop Mac enhancements.
Half-Interval search:
Remove all suspect items and run the shutdown experiment. If no panics, restore half of them. If there is still no panic, the trouble is in the half on the bench. And so on.
It should converge very quickly this way, unless it is a subtle interaction between two items.

All Sharing is turned off. Regarding the Wake for Network access, I never checked that. Should that be unchecked? Thanks
I turned it off earlier on. It was checked when I got the 2019 MP.
Now if I can only figure out why the MP is auto rebooting.
