My FaceTime camera isn't working and is only displaying black screen. The green light turns on but nothing shows on the FaceTime window. Ive tried some solutions from the conversations but none worked

If the camera isn’t working in multiple applications, reset the SMC and test again:
How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac
If that doesn’t work, check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the camera is detected.

Thank you but I tried them all but the problem is still there. There must be a problem with the camera since photo booth also displays a black screen. Is there any way to solve this
hi again, I tried all of the above and it still doesn't work. Are there any other ways to fix it. Also, I recently updated my MacBook to OS Catalina. Could this be the reason it's not working ?
