facetime camera not working and facetime only displaying black screen on macbook pro

My FaceTime camera isn't working and is only displaying black screen. The green light turns on but nothing shows on the FaceTime window. Ive tried some solutions from the conversations but none worked

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

If the camera isn’t working in multiple applications, reset the SMC and test again:


How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac


If that doesn’t work, check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the camera is detected.
