Update to latest version

iPad Air 2 can be upgraded. Settings > Software Update. I’d make a backup prior to the upgrade.

If you’re using a Mac, you’ll want to defer the (optional) Reminders data upgrade until your Mac is running Catalina.

IIRC, for when your footer was iOS 9 and iPad 2:

Your iPad 2 is too old and too hardware-limited to run the current iOS 13.4. iPad 2 tops out at iOS 9. There is no available upgrade for this ~eight year old iPad, short of a new or new-to-you iPad.
