SAFE FINDER - VIRUS

How can I remove the virus called Safe Finder? Every time I go to Google, It redirects me to Yahoo and apparently this virus gets all your sensitive information etc... everything you search plus your personal info. I believe the virus is called Safe finder or anysearchmanager. I believe this is a pretend browser.

Have you ever heard of this? do you know how to get rid of it? I am desperate to eliminate this virus... I have tried finding any software in my iMac... but NOTHING. it must be in the coding... or something.

Please help me, I need to solve this as soon as possible.

Start with Malwarebytes.

What you're experiencing is not a virus, but more likely another type of malware that causes browser redirection.

You can download and run Malwarebytes, it’s a very popular scan tool among veteran users here in the Community, and it’s the only one recommended by Apple tech support folks. See if it can identify any malware you may inadvertently have installed.

Thank you so much that Software you suggested cleared my MAC. At least is not redirecting anything anymore. It looks like it is fixed. Thank you so much for this. People like you make a huge difference. THANKS!!!!
