Anyone experience an issue with your texts being received hours later and out of order? This is an old group chat with one iPhone and one Android. My responses are the only errors. I have a 10XR, IOS 13.3.1, and ATT. This problem is only occurring within this group chat. A couple of days ago, the android user mysteriously received some strange files, looks like it was sent from the Apple users..but we could not see it, and did not send it. Since then, only my text responses are screwed up. Looking for insights. Thanks!

Are you saying these texts contain pictures or audio files? How big? Are they going as iMessages to the person with the iPhone and are they seeing the delay? The problem between you and the android phone is going to be a carrier issue.

Even though Apple uses MMS for group texts if they don't have media attached they are really going as SMS messages. Which means the issue is either your carrier, their carrier or both.

They get them..eventually. I see all the texts. They don’t get my responses..some go through immediately, and others come hours later. Yes, it’s MMS bc one is an Android.

Thanks for the advice. Tried that. I also reset the ATT settings. Deleted thread and started over. My phone looks fine, it’s the other members are not getting my responses real time. They are receiving them hours later and out of order. One of the members has an Android and the other iPhone.

Yes, it’s ATT. No pictures. Just texts. It’s like my texts are hung up somewhere and sent later. Weird though..this just started a couple days ago. The text string is years old! They are going as MMS. All green. This is the only text string am having issues with. 3 of us in the chat..my iPhone, one user Android, other user iPhone. I guess I need to call the provider.
