Quicktime download

I'm trying to find somewhere to download Quicktime but the download on Apple's website says SnowLeopard at the end and that sounds fishy to me... anyone know where I can download quicktime securely and correctly from a secure site?

Hi qwertyasdfgh99,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help downloading QuickTime. It sounds like you have started at this page: Download QuickTime. I can assure you that this version would be for Snow Leopard and is hosted on an official Apple site.

With newer versions of macOS, QuickTime would be included in macOS built-in applications. It's likely you won't need to download QuickTime at all. Any standalone updates would come from the Mac App Store.
