How do I get drop down lists to scroll using the keyboard and touch pad on my MacBook Air?
MacBook Air
Yes, in a menu with several choices, I’m unable to scroll past those in the window when there are more options/choices than can display.
I figured out a sort of workaround.
I use the trackpad to select, then a second hand on the pad to scroll. This is like a shift select so it highlights everything. When released the dropdown closes. But, I can re-open it and have the list in a different place. A few tries gets me to where I want.
Changing the size of the drop-down window is not possible.
Have you tried clicking where the arrow is pointing?
Where are you trying to do this? Click on the menu bar item and then scroll down.
Have you tried increasing the size of the window?
If you select the last item that is visible, can you use the down arrow to see more options?
Nope
All the arrow does is open and close the dropdown. I can work it on my phone so for now, that's where I am.
