How do you turn off two factor authentication

If you have had it more than two weeks you cannot turn it off. If it has been less than that you go to the email you received from Apple telling you it was activated and click on the link in that email for turning it off.

You cannot. Two Factor Authentication is best way to make sure your Apple ID is secured. What is the reason you would like to turn this feature off in first place?
