can I recover my old iCloud account by using the code that I was giving ?

Have you deleted the Apple ID account from icloud server , the code is valid for 30 days , after 30 days the account and code doesn't work ( it can't be recovered ) perhaps see the article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT208504
