I’m trying to set up my hotspot network for a windows XP ran notebook. To “install a new network” on my pc I need to enter the wpa network key of 64 characters. How can I find this on my iPhone.
I have a MacBook that may help if I need to access iTunes. The pc however is bare bones with no access to WiFi (which means no iTunes)

I am assuming that you are trying to create a hotspot on your iPhone so that your Windows PC can join that network. I also want to stress that Hotspot is a feature activated by your carrier and not by Apple. You should have hotspot as an available feature with your carrier plan. If all is good on the carrier side then please review this article by Apple ➔ Hot to Set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone and follow the instructions.
Once the hotspot is setup and activated on your iPhone then setup on a PC is easy. Look for the hotspot network name under WiFi on your PC and then connect to it with hotspot password shown on your iPhone. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply! I set the phone up through my phone already and it is offered through my carrier. The issue is when I go on the pc and click ‘connect’ it is delayed and then says it can’t because it’s out of range.
on my other networks (home, Starbucks, xfinity) it doesn’t give me a chance to enter a password or the login page for xfinity/Starbucks.
This is why I have resulted in manually entering my iPhone info into the setup wizard on the pc. I’ve first endured my pc with XP is capable of configuring a WiFi hotspot. Automatically assigning the network key gets me nowhere. I can’t find out, from the iPhone, my hotspots network key.
You lost me. Is the issue with your PC connecting to the network that is created by your iPhone's hotspot?

Yes. I’ve hotspotted for my MacBook so I know it works.. I’d upload photos but it says my photos are too large.
